Paddington House of Pancakes : Kids Meal, 3 mini pancakes, with ice-cream, bananas and chocolate sauce |
Paddington House of Pancakes at The Curve is one place that comes to mind when thinking of a nice lazy and satisfying brunch for the kiddos and the parents on a Saturday :) The kids love the fluffy pancakes with their favorite side of sausages and fries or ice cream and bananas yummy! Hubby and I always go for The Full Monty for pancakes, sausages, bacon, egss sunny side up and salad. Paddington House of Pancakes' Creamy Carbonara is also one of my firm favorites.

Paddington House of Pancakes : Kids Meal 3 mini pancakes, sausages, cheese and fries |
Last Saturday, we decided to head to Paddington Pancakes since it's been nearly a year since we last had our brunch there after shifting to Sentul from TTDI. Somehow, we prefer the ambience of Paddington Pancakes at The Curve over Paddington Pancakes at One Utama. We were pleasantly surprised that they had done a little makeover with colorful chairs that makes the places more cheerful and better looking graphics on the menu that makes everything looks mouth watering. They have also added more variety that actually make you have a hard time choosing what to eat.

Paddington Pancakes: The Full Monty |
We stuck to our usual, plain pancakes with ice cream, bananas and chocolate sauce for my 4 year old and plain pancakes with sausages, cheese and fries for my 2.5 year old. Hubby stood firm with his full monty, pancakes, sausages, bacon, 2 sunny side up eggs, mashed potatoes with brown sauce side and salad while I tried a new dish called "Nice" a thin crepe with full chicken breast filling, chicken ham, sliced pineapples, mushroom and cheese with mushroom sauce side and salad. My "Nice" serving was so generous, I couldn't finish everything. Although the filling's combination is good, the mushroom sauce was a bit of a let down. I still prefer Marche's roasted chicken and mushroom with cheese crepe :)

Still, it was a nice brunch and the kids enjoyed themselves and ate very well. Padington House of Pancakes serves delicious pancakes with beautiful presentation that I feel ashamed preparing plain pancakes for my kids at home haha.. with kids meal starting at RM9.00, I think Paddington House of Pancakes is a much healthier option that McDonald's hotcakes happy meal. The only thing is the shop opens at 11.00am so that's not exactly breakfast. Good thing is you can head to Paddington Pancakes should your kids ask for hot cakes after McDonald's breakfast hour!
