Avocado Smoothie / Jus Avocado

Avocado Smoothie

A long time favorite of my family. It's very simple to make but you got to choose the right avocado, Australian avocados taste nicer than Indonesian, and make sure that the fruit is ripe beautiful light green color and soft. If it is still hard then it will not taste nice.

Cut the avocado in half vertically, take out the seed in the middle and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Use one whole fruit per serving.

Avocado Smoothie Recipe (serves 1)

1 ripe Avocado
1 cup cold water / ice
3 tablespoon full cream milk powder (more if you like it creamier)
sugar or honey to taste.

Blend all ingredients together.


Variations


  • The indonesian variation uses evaporated milk and gula melaka (Palm Sugar) 
  • The healthy version will just use avocado, water and honey. 
  • The chocolate lover version will add Hershey's chocolate syrup to the above smoothie recipe for a chocolate-y kick.
