Easy Chicken Microwave Recipe

Apparently, turning on natural gas in Malaysia has gotten a lot harder for tenants nowadays. I remember that it was very easy and quick for Gas Malaysia to send their guy over to our old rented apartment to turn on the connection but now new regulations have been put in place where only the owners or assigned real estate agents can request for such services and they require the S&P documents as well. So, after 1 week of cooking with microwave and rice cooker, I'm getting a bit more adventurous I would say.

Today, I decided to try Chicken Shawarma recipe from microwaverecipe.net but I improvised with whatever ingredients that I have on hand and to suit my hubby's asian tastebud.

I would say it turns out quite all right, hubby commented that he don't mind eating it as breakfast another time too :)

Easy microwave recipe

Chicken Shawarma Recipe (serves 2 only):

100 gm of boneless chicken (sliced)
1/2 sliced small onion
2 cloves garlic (diced)
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon back pepper powder
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
salt
1 tablespoon canola oil
some sliced carrots
some sliced celery

Cooking instructions:

Mix chicken with all the spices, put on a flat plate, lay on the vegetables and lastly sprinkle the oil all over the chicken.

Microwave on high for 3-5 mins or until chicken is done.

If you like you can add on some mayo, barbecue sauce , chilli sauce and some cheese when serving the chicken in lebanese bread and microwave to melt the cheese. Delicious!
